Get your certification to teach yoga! Yoga is fun. It's also a fun way to earn a little extra income... Maybe you want to teach others how amazing yoga can be and crave the know-how to teach a really great yoga class? Barefoot Yoga is your home for learning and success. Our semester programs are offered on Saturdays and Sundays over the course of 5 months. These weekends include physical practice on the mat and instruction on core teaching and assisting material. After graduation, you will have the knowledge to teach yoga.
This 200-hour training program will focus on the art of vinyasa flow. How to move smoothly and consciously in our yoga practice. We will learn about the breath and how to modify poses for most skill level students, so, that you can teach an all levels class to the public. Our program includes practice in meditation, a study of the chakras and energy in yoga, and the history and practice of yoga as it came from India to the United States. Your Teacher and guide, has spent the last 20 years practicing and teaching yoga, and she has traveled to Rishikesh, India to understand the beautiful country that created this amazing practice.
Our program includes homework, reading, and practice to get you ready and prepared. Join us! We are still enrolling for Fall Semester.

10:00am - 5:00pm Saturdays and Sundays
all dates per semester are required to complete your 200 hours of training.
