Get your certification to teach yoga! Yoga is fun. It's also a fun way to earn a little extra income... Maybe you want to teach others how amazing yoga can be and crave the know-how to teach a really great yoga class? Barefoot Yoga is your home for learning and success. Our semester programs are offered on Saturdays and Sundays over the course of 5 months. These weekends include physical practice on the mat and instruction on core teaching and assisting material. After graduation, you will have the knowledge to teach yoga to all skill level students.

  • 10:30am - 6:00pm Saturdays and Sundays

FINE PRINT:

  • all dates per semester are required to complete your 200 hours of training. 

  • hours do not transfer to another program.

(Students may purchase their books at anytime. You may choose a Kindle version or a paperback version. Books are not included in your tuition.)

  • Panch kosha (five covering or sheaths over consciousness)

  • Four-sutra (preface of Patanjali’s Yog sutra)

  • Panch-klesha (five causes of pain and miseries)

  • Raja yoga and Hatha yoga

  • Vinyasa, Restorative, and Yin yoga

  • Prenatal Yoga

  • Yamas and Niyamas (social and personal rules)

  • Asana (physical posture)

  • Pranayama (breathing techniques)

  • Pratyahara (withdrawal of the mind from the senses)
