Where are the Adirondacks?

The Adirondacks are a chain of mountains in the uppereast region of New York state. There are over 200 lakes in this region including Lakes George, Placid, and Tears of the Cloud. Mirror Lake was the site of the 1932 and the 1980 Winter Olympics.

Summits in this region can reach heights of 5000 feet or more and provide lots of opportunities to see wildlife. Hiking trails are easy to moderate.

Please note we are not expecting guests to have advanced hiking skills. Our hikes will be on consecutive days. We will walk and enjoy nature taking in everything it has to offer.
